Elitsa Kuzmanova, 29 years old.

I was born in Sofia, which
remains my city -
somehow I am anchored here,
no matter how often I travel.
I love photography, as
I mentioned - traveling,
reading, watching movies
and spending time outside.
My favorite spot has remained
in Bulgaria, and in the summer
it’s the most beautiful sight,
because it fills up with plankton,
and the Milky Way and nearby fire
are the only lights around.
I dream of sea and endless summer.
I chase happiness.
And sometimes happiness chases me.
I graduated from Sofia High School
in Construction, Architecture
and Geodesy 'Hristo Botev'
with Park Construction.
I gave myself a year off
to reflect, then
enrolled in Photography at NBU.
I have been shooting for 13 years,
with short (mostly winter) breaks -
the winter depression does not spare me.
Since the summer of 2024
I have been shooting mostly on film.
In this space I would like to share
some of my work with you.
